waxing & tinting advice

At Bare Beauty, your skin’s wellbeing and comfort are always a priority. To ensure your treatment is suitable for you, please take a moment to read the following before your appointment.

Waxing Advice

Certain skincare ingredients, medications and skin conditions can make the skin more delicate and sensitive to waxing. Do inform me if prior to your appointment if you are:

  • using retinol, retinal, tretinoin, adapalene or other retinoid products

  • taking isotretinoin ( Roacutane) or have recently completed treatment

  • using exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs) prescription skincare or acne treatments

  • experiencing sunburn, broken skin, irritation, eczema flare -up or other skin conditions

  • recovering from chemical peels, laser treatments, micro needling or skin resurfacing

  • taking medication that may affect skin sensitivity, bruising or healing

These factors may increase the risk of skin irritation, skin lifting or damage during waxing, If you are unsure whether your skin care products, medication or skin condition may affect your skin, do get in contact prior to booking.

tinting Advice

Brow & lash tinting treatments are designed to enhance your natural features. To minimise the risk of an allergic reaction, all clients must have a patch test before their tinting treatment. Tinting treatments cannot proceed without the required patch test. Please arrange this in advance of your appointment.
